The DATA STORAGE, is often called storage or memory. Is a technology consisting of many components. It also is a term for saving digital information in many forms for use by devices or a pc. There are many kinds of storages that have different roles in a computer. Almost all the computers use a storage, which puts fast and small storage to the Central Processing Unit (computer) or slower and larger farther away. Without a big amount of memory, a computer would be not able to perform operations and immediately have the result. Some computers are more versatile in that and they do not need to have a hardware for each new program. Text, pictures, numbers, audio, and almost any other information can be converted into bits. 8 bits are 1 byte. The byte is the most common unit of storage. Information can only be handled by all Central Processing Units (computers) or devices that have enough space and storage to accommodate the information.
