JOAQUÍN ARANA AND MATÍAS BRUGO

Data storage:
The storage is where you can save the data of an electronic device. Like computers, Tvs, tablets, mobiles phones, calculators, game consoles, etc..
There are also electronics devices that they don’t have storage of any type like a remote control. But also there are electronics devices that they have temporary storage.
With the years the memory was getting down the price. In 1956 1 GB cost 8,2 millions dollars, in 1980 cost 184 thousand dollars, in 1990 cost 5.200 dollars, in 2000 cost 12 dollars and in 2006 were 1,2 dollars.

There are three types of computer storage:

Primary Storage: This is the fastest type of storage and inside is the Cache ( inside the CPU) and the RAM. This are inside of the devices.

CPU:central processing unit

RAM: Random access memory

Secondary storage:  This is the second fastest type of storage and it is the Hard Disk.

Tertiary Storage: Is the third fastest storage and it included Usb, CD, DVD, etc....

That was the Data Storage information and definition.
