Simple functions
These simple functions you use them to count numbers only, all data and blanks. They are called COUNT, COUNTA and COUNTBLANK.
Count: you use it to count cells with numbers inside it. These numbers can be, not only simple numbers, also dates. What we mean with that is the day, the month and the year. With the date you can easily, click on the column and it will count you the numbers and the date.
Counta: you use it to count all data. There's one exception, if you want to put an invisible number in a blank cell, you put two quotes in. If you want to know which number is behind that blank cell, you just click on the cell and there you will see it.
Countblank: you use it to count the number of blank cells in a range of cells or column.
What one has to do with each function in excel in spreadsheet:
1. Insert = (equal sign)
2. Write name of the function(e.g: counta)
3. Put ( (bracket)
4. Select columns
5. Put ) (bracket)
