How to use youtube editor.

The youtube editor, is a basic tool with limited caracteristics but that can help you to improve your videos in a fast and easy form. You can trim your clips,join them by transitions, add texts,audio tracks,and personalize your video with special efecs.

Everything from the publisher page without installing anything.

Steps you have to folow to edit a youtube video:

Step 1: upload a new youtube video to your account so you have the material to work on.

Step 2: Sing in your youtube account and in the top of the home page you’ll see the “upload video” button. Click that button.

Step 3: Search and upload a video from your computer.

Step 4: enter to the youtube editor.

Step 5: you can acced to the youtube editor directly via link www.youtube.com/editor , or, after loging in your youtube account, click on the arrow next too your profile picture , and from the drop-down menu and click on the link " Video Manager " . In the new screen, select the " Video Editor " tab.

             Simple functions                              

These simple functions you use them to count numbers only, all data and blanks. They are called COUNT, COUNTA and COUNTBLANK.

Count: you use it to count cells with numbers inside it. These numbers can be, not only simple numbers, also dates. What I mean with that is the day, the month and the year. With the date you can easily, click on a cell and change it to the date you want.

Counta: you do exactly the same process with the count function. There's one exception, if you want to put an invisible number in a blank cell, you put two quotes in. If you want to know which number is behind that blank cell, you just click on the cell and there you will see it.

Countblank: you use it to count the number of blank cells in a range of cells or column.

      

What one has to do with each function in excel in spreadsheet:

1. Insert = (equal sign)

                              2. Write name of the function(e.g:counta)

                                                            3. Put ( (bracket)

                                                            4. Select columns

                                                            5. Put  (bracket)

FUNCTIONS:

Spreadsheet has different kinds of functions. These are used to calculate numbers on a table. Here are a few examples of functions:

 

SUMIF

"You use the function SUMIF, when you need to specify the numbers that you want to add together in a column/row."

With the sumif and sumifs functions you add numbers together.

For instance, imagine that in a column that contains numbers, you only want to sum the values that are smaller than 10. To calculate that, for example, you need to use this formula:=SUMIF(A2:A48,"<10")

The syntax for SUMIF is:

SUMIF(range, criteria, [sum_range])

SUMIFS:

The sumifs function is a mathematical function that is used to sum numbers in a table.

Syntax: SUMIFS: (sum_range, criteria_range1, criteria1, [criteria_range2, criteria2].

MEAINING OF THE FUNCTION:

• sum_range: (obligatory)The range of cells you are wanting to add together.
• criteria_range1(obligatory): The column/row of the table where you want a specific kind of data from (Where to look for).
• criteria1: The specific data you are looking for in a table (what to look for).
• [criteria_range2,criteria2](optional):Same as “criteria_range1” and “criteria1”. You can add this, if you have more information to calculate with.

You can use Video Editor tools to put together clips to create new videos and publish them to YouTube with one click. All of your uploads are added automatically to the Video Editor. Some of the things you can do with Video Editor are: combine multiple videos and images you've uploaded to create a new video, trim your clips to custom lengths, add music to your video from a library of approved tracks, customize clips with special tools and effects. All of these tools are completely free. The steps to get to edit it, will be:

1. Log in to your YouTube account.
2. In the top right, click Upload.On the right under "Video Editor," click Edit.
3. Choose from the Video Editor tools listed below.
4. When you're done creating your project, click Create video.

Even though creating the video on cellphone/IPad/ Tablet  is different than creating it on a computer, don’t worry. We are going to explain the steps for those devices  throughout this post.

There are several  Count Functions in spreadsheet, but in this text we are only going to explain COUNT. This function counts every cells which has a numeric value in it. For example: you have 5 cells in a column, and 4 have a numeric value (two of them have a 3 in it) written in it and the last one has Truck 1 written in it.  The thing is, you only want to know how many cells with a number written in it are in the column. To do this  you start writing an equal sign in a empty cell, open brackets and select the range from where you want to count the cells, close the brackets, and the value should appear in the cell. But you can also just count specific values. So as always you write an equal sign and open brackets.Then you write the specific value that you want to know in how many cells it appears and close the brackets. Then the value should appear in the cell.

Youtube editor

To use the Youtube video editor you have to log in to your YouTube account,

click on Upload in the top right. Then click on Edit, right 2under “Video Editor”. When you finish, click “Create Video”.

You will need to click the camera icon to browse images. All of your uploads are automatically added to the Video Editor and can be used as a clip. Up to 50 clips and 500 images can be added to a project to create a new video.

Once your clip is in the timeline, you can customize its length. If you want to cut the length of your clip, you can do so by moving your cursor over the edges of your video in the timeline. Drag the handles toward the center of the video to shorten. If you want to make it longer, drag the handles outward from the center of the video to lengthen. If you make it longer than its original length, the video will repeat itself.

You also have some effects, for example: rotate, text, slow motion, etc…

To add music, click the music note button and bring up YouTube's library of pre-approved songs. To  make it easier, you can search for a specific song, or filter by artist and genre. When you find your song, drag it to the timeline. If you need to customize the volume, find the volume slider and adjust it the way you like it.

Now, (after vacations), we have been learning those  functions :, counta, countif,sum,countifs, sumif, sumifs

   What can one do with this functions and how to use them.

How to use them is next of the name from the function, and then what can one do.

counta: =counta(range ; criterium) To see how many cells from where are empty/ full, or have numbers(dates are stored as numbers)

countif : =countif(range ; criterium)  To see how many cells you selected complain a characterist.

sumif: =sumif( Range; criterium ; how many) The same as countif, but you can see the sum of numbers from the column you selected as “how many” that  coincide with “what”.

countifs : =countifs(range; criterium; range; criterium) The same as countif, but you can see how many times the column you selected(where) has a “what” wich coincide with the other “what” from the other column (where)

sumifs:=sumifs(range ; criterium;range; criterium;how many) You can see the sum of the numbers of the column you selected as “how many” that coincide with both “what” from both “where”.
